Velma Kiome - Production Manager

Is a 29 year old accomplished illustrator and graphic designer by profession. Over the past 8 years she has had experience working as an art director developing publications, campaign and advocacy material for various organizations including Phoenix Publishers Limited, Carolina for Kibera, Population Council, Inter-governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). Velma is also passionate about the African arts scene - music, art, dance, photography, theatre - which she uses to feed her critical arts correspondence writing for Arterial Network and Marimba Media, based in South Africa. Velma joined the Rainmaker team to ensure that the Nairobi run of Mofaya goes on as envisioned by Eric
