Tim Rimbui is a Kenyan record producer and songwriter who has worked with many prominent Kenyan and East African artists, with the foresight of being creative, innovative and unique he chose the moniker Ennovator, which would best describe his sound and approach to songwriting and music production.
In 2004 Tim Rimbui partnered with Kora Award winner and one of Africa’s top World Music artists Eric Wainaina and Sheba Hirst to form Enkare Studios, one of Nairobi’s successful recording studios.
He has written and produced songs for 3 Kora Award Winning artists: Neema Ntalel – Best East African Artist Category (2005); Kaz – Most Promising Female Artist Category (2005); and DNG – Best Gospel Artist Category (2004). He has also received 6 nominations for the Producer of the year at the Kisima Music Awards.

In 2007 he partnered with Wandiri Karimi to form EnnovatorMusic Ltd, a Production Company that undertakes writing, producing and recording for bands and solo musicians, as well as music production and scoring for film, radio and television. They later went ahead and formed EnnovatorMusic Publishing in 2008 after signing an agreement with Sheer Publishing Company in South Africa which handles all the intellectual property rights for published works as well as handling worldwide publishing agreements for other musicians keen to protect their original compositions.

His passion for the excellence in performance arts led him to form Kinanda Arts Festival, an annual showcase of wholesome live entertainment, where he is the the Festival Director.
