Is an artist based at the Kenya National Theater Performing Arts with skillsranging from acting, singing and directing. He first joined theatre in 2004 working for Planets theatre, traveling the country performing secondary schools literature and Fasihi set books. He later went on to work for Fanaka arts theatre in 2006 doing the same at the Kenya National Theatre Auditorium . Later that year he did his first movie "Mob Justice". In 2007 he joined the famous Heart Strings Kenya, as a full time stage performer in their hilarious comedy shows at the French Cultural Centre .Later that year he did his first musical with Kenya's king of contemporary music Eric Wainaina, in the explosive "LUANDA" a ghetto story. The multi-talented Elton John Mwambi is now working on his first studio album "Maisha" and in Eric Wainaina's new smash musical "Mo Faya". Elton has been providing background vocals for Mofaya the Musical, as well as seamlessly stepping into the role of “Proff” in Dan Aceda’s stead on several occasions.
